Our Commitment to Privacy
At Deep Timer, we believe that your meditation practice is deeply personal. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information remains secure.
iOS App: No Data Collection
The Deep Timer iOS app does not collect any data. Your settings, session history, and journals are stored only on your device. They are never transmitted to us or to any third party, and the app requires no account and no sign-in.
Web Version (deeptimer.io)
The web version stores your settings and session history locally in your browser. To understand aggregated usage of our website, the web version uses the following analytics services:
• Google Analytics (anonymized usage statistics)
• Hotjar (aggregated interaction insights)
These services apply to the website only — not to the iOS app.
Information We Don't Collect
We want to be clear about what we don't collect:
• Personal identification information
• Email addresses or phone numbers
• Your meditation sessions or journals (they stay on your device)
• Location data
• Audio recordings
• Social media profiles
Data Storage
All of your data — settings, session history, and journals — is stored locally on your device (or in your browser, for the web version). It never leaves your device, and we have no servers that store user data. Deleting the app (or clearing your browser storage) permanently removes your data.
Children's Privacy
Deep Timer is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app functions entirely offline for core features, ensuring children's privacy is protected.
Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
